Registration for the 2027 iSpeechMaster International English Speech Competition will open soon. Individual students and schools are both welcome to apply.

Who Can Participate

Open to Individuals and Schools

Individual Students

Any eligible student may apply directly with a parent or guardian — no school sponsorship required. The online registration form will be posted here as soon as the 2027 guidelines are announced.

Schools & Groups

Teachers and program leaders can register a group of students and serve as the group coordinator. Partner schools receive preferred registration access. Group registration →

International Students

Students outside the United States are warmly welcome. Non-US students in grades K–12 and US students in grades 3–12 take part by submitting a recorded speech video.

Who is eligible — Non-US students in grades K–12 and US students in grades 3–12. The 2027 speech theme and deadlines will be published in the official competition guidelines.

Process

How It Works

  1. Register — Complete the online registration form with a parent or guardian. Participation is free for qualifying students.
  2. Prepare your speech — Write and practice an original speech in English that responds to the year’s theme question.
  3. Record & submit — Record a video of the speech and upload it through the submission link provided after registration.
  4. Judging — A panel of educators and speech professionals reviews every submission.
  5. Awards & Carnegie Hall — Selected awardees are invited to the iSpeechMaster Award Ceremony & Arts and Cultural Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

  • Signed Photo, Video & Media Release (included in the registration form)

If you would like to bring a class, after-school program, or community group, we will set up a group registration with a single coordinator. Tell us your school or organization, the estimated number of students, and their grade levels.
